This week's poser is a passage the inventory of the Scottish philosopher Adam Ferguson, included in the Commissary Court records of St Andrews, 1816 (National Records of Scotland CC20/7/8 page 581).

The clerk had a tendency to flourish his capital letters. Watch out for his letters s and t.
